YOU HAVE IT ALL

YOU HAVE IT ALL

Main text: Psalm 16:5-6 – You, Lord, are all I have and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands. How wonderful are your gifts to me; how good they are!

Philippians 3:12 – Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect: but I press on, if so be that I may lay hold on that for which also I was laid hold on by Christ Jesus.

Have you ever found yourself recounting on the things that you don’t have? Specifically the things that you wish you had in order to make better commitment where God has placed you? Have you ever looked at someone else’s life and think that they have more time, better talent, better gift, more resources, and that’s why they are more dedicated? But, the truth is, God has given you all you need to accomplish what he has predestined you to.

The bible teaches us to value our individual gifts and talents, but most importantly, to function in the areas he has placed us.
Most people bury their gifts because they don’t see the potential in them. However, God has given each of us, what we need to be who he has called us to be. In the church for example, some are called to be in the choir, some ushers, and you can function better if you put God first and then do the best.

Even in the society, some are called to be Doctors, Engineers, Accountants, and the most important thing is to effectively use what God has given you. When we realize that God intentionally made each of us unique, then we thrive to be the best version of us. We begin to see really that all we have is all we need. One interesting parable in the bible that is a great reminder to invest in what God has given us is found in (Matthew 25:14-30).

Each day, we have a choice to walk in the path that God has called us, or sit and wish we have what everyone else has. You have it all, the time, the talent, the resources, but you have to invest in what you have. Thrive each day to make use of your gift, make a difference in your home, church, and the society.

YOU ARE CALLED FOR A TIME LIKE THIS, AND YOU HAVE ALL YOU NEED TO BE A GOOD AMBASSADOR OF CHRIST

Prayer: Father, I pray for divine strength to use effectively and appreciate the gifts you have given me in Jesus name. Amen
