Main text: John 8:31-32 – Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed in Him, ‘If you abide in my word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free’.
John 14:6 – Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.

Literally, truth is what when spoken, unburdens the heart and lightens the spirit. It has the ability to deliver and liberate one from oppression. The scripture from our text admonishes us that Jesus is the truth – applying that in our definition of truth, Jesus unburdens our hearts and makes our weight light. Does it feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders? Do you have the truth in you?
Jesus is available and waiting to unburden the challenges that are overwhelming us.

To accept His help is to become His follower and disciple. You must be born again and be obedient to the instructions of God to be able to activate your freedom. “And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” – Do you know the truth (Jesus Christ)? You must come to the truth today and accept Him as your Lord and personal saviour. When the truth is in you, every obstacle becomes a stepping stone to your prosperity.

When the truth is resident inside you, you have the authority to call on the father to deliver and save you from all oppressions. Through Jesus (the truth), the doors that seem locked opens and through Jesus Christ, healing can happen today and that long awaited miracle may Just happen now.

Prayer: O Lord, I come to the truth, I accept the truth and I pray that the truth shall make me free in Jesus name. Amen
