THE ALL SUFFICIENT GOD 1

Main text: 2 Corinthians 12:9- But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me

2 Corinthians 9:8- And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

All sufficient in the Hebrew word is El-Shaddai which means God who helps, blesses, supplies and one who is mighty to save and deliver among other good things he does. No matter what happens to any of His children, He can and will take care of them. He sees us through our times of trials, sends us comfort when we need it, and takes care of our financial needs.

He has for thousands of years taken care of His children’s needs. Millions could testify of the great things, God has done for them. Even some men and women in the Bible can show us His All sufficiency. Nowadays, many people trust in their personal ability or human effort for achievement or attaining greater heights in life. God is the sole route towards recording abundance, change of story, new glorious levels, sweeter than the present experiences.

Remember that David turned to God when he wanted to fight the wicked Goliath. Other soldiers forgot God despite the fact that their weapons, could not deliver them. David’s deposition to Goliath facing him was “the Lord saveth not with physical weapons for the battle is the Lord’s” (1sam 17:47). Until man has the understanding of taking the battle of life to God, he will keep fighting the same battle. Many people are consumed by their battle because they allow the battle to dictate to them and not, the All sufficient God.

GOD MAKES BUDGET FOR HIS OWN CHILDREN AND HIS SOURCE IS DEPENDABLE

Prayer: let the God of all sufficiency visit me and abide with me forever in Jesus name
