MOVING FORWARD IS BEST
Main Text- Proverbs 4:25- Let your eyes look directly forward and your gaze be straight before you.
Philippians 3:14- I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Just like the athlete, we are to run and press forward to the finish line knowing that the prize of the racelies ahead. As we run, there are a lot of distractions. Our past calling us to look back and keep back and down. The flesh and the world calling us to look on them and remove our gaze from the ultimate goal of heaven and from Jesus who is the author and the finisher of our faith.
In our Christian walk with God, there will be challenges. When some of these challenges come, we begin to examine ourselves whether we have sinned against God or not. But God most times allows these challenges so as to test our love for Him and to also strengthen our faith in Him.
Apostle Paul understood that the best to do in life is to keep moving forward no matter the pains and failures of yesterday. Wisdom makes you to keep trying after many failures because if there is life there is hope. We are commanded to count our blessings and successes and not our failures and losses.
DO NOT DWELL ON WHAT WENT WRONG, GO FOR THE NEXT
Prayer- I am a success and never a failure. I will live a fulfilled life in Jesus name.
