IF GOD BE FOR US
Main Text- Romans 8:31- What shall we say in response to these? If God be for us, who can be against us?
2Kings 6:16- Don’t be afraid, the prophet answered. Those who are with us are more than those who are against us.
The God we serve is the Almighty creator of the entire universe. He commands and it comes to pass. When he says yes, nobody can say no, when He opens a door, no one can close it. When we accept Jesus as Lord and savior, we become the children of this great and mighty God and He places His name and glory on us. We become the object of His love and mercy as He no longer looks on us with anger and rage. We become translated from the kingdom and camp of the devil to the kingdom and camp of God and He now begins to work in our favour.
In our journey from earth to heaven, we come across obstacles, redseas, difficulties,hindrances and all sorts of challenges. But in all these things, we are more than conqueror’s as God our father has promised to be with us. Moses knew the importance of God’s presence going with them that he refused to take any step without God. It is the presence of God that will guarantee our victory regardless of the size of the mountain that stands before us. If God be for us, there is no red sea that can stop us, no fire can consume us and no storm can overwhelm us.
If we want God to go with us and be for us in this journey of life, we must first invite Him into the boat of our lives as the disciples did to Jesus and when they met with the storm, He arose for them and rebuked the storm and it was still and the disciples had a safe journey to their destination. If we want God to be for us, then we must also be for him. We must be on His side through holy and upright living.
If God is for you, nobody can be against you and prevail. No one. I see God coming through for you where nobody can defend you. God is coming through to deliver you from the fire experience in your life, it will never consume you.
