NOT MY WILL

NOT MY WILL

Main Text- Mark 14:36- And He said, Abba father, not my will but what you will.

John 4:34- Jesus said to them, my food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to accomplish His work.

The will of God still remains an issue to be understood or accepted by many people because even God said that His ways are higher than the ways of man. There are certain things that happen around us and we come to that point of confusion but one thing that is unfailing is submitting to the will of God.

The will of God if obeyed will definitely profit us. A great challenge lies on when God’s will contradict our will. Moses ran away from the terror in Egypt and encountered God in the burning bush. God ordered him to go back to Egypt to deliver His people. This same Egypt that he was happy for escaping the wicked hands of Pharaoh. In the mind of Moses, he was already settled in the house of his in-law, he had already started a new career and also married and suddenly God sent him back to Egypt.

Many times God sends us back to people and things that we thought that they are all over in our lives. Jesus Christ said that His life and duty is to obey the father’s will continually. It takes patience and humility to obey God’s will and stand firm on His will even when storms come up against us

IN THE WILL OF GOD, THERE IS NO REGRET BUT GREATER GAIN

Prayer- O Lord Jesus, I submit myself to you, let your will lead me through in life.
