ARE YOU A SAINT?

ARE YOU A SAINT?

MAIN TEXT: John 3:16 ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life’.

2 Timothy 2:19 – ‘Nevertheless’ the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The LORD knoweth them that are his’.

Who is a saint? A saint is one who has heard and positively responded to the call of God unto salvation in true repentance. Saints are those who are genuinely walking with Christ and following His examples in all they do. They are those who have taken Christ to be their only Savior, who esteems the Bible as their ultimate guide, who regard sin as their mortal enemy, and who look to heaven as their only hope and home. These are the saints, the real children of God.

It is sad, though, to note, that all over the world today, gatherings for religious purposes occur every single day, especially in Christendom. Churches and church-goers can be found on almost every street, even as services, programs and activities of all kinds are organized and attended from day to day. The sad reality however, is that, not all who gather together in the visible church on earth actually belong to the invisible church recognized by God in heaven. The Lord can never be mocked or deceived by any religious camouflage.

He knows those who are truly His among the billions of people who hide under the banner of his name the world over. He knows those who truly serve and honor Him in every single Christian congregation. His standard is, ‘YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN’. You must come to him in true repentance and sanctification. You can stray into the church all you want, but, without the experience of the second birth, God will never recognize you as His child.

NONE WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE HEAVENLY CITY WITH A SPECK OF SIN

Prayer: My father, my Savior, as the bell of soul winning is ringing, may souls be drawn into your kingdom in their numbers, in the name of Jesus. Amen. May I never miss heaven
