REMAIN STEADFAST

MAIN TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 16:13’ Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith; be men of courage, be strong’.

Revelation 3:11 ‘I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown’.

In many places in the bible, we are told to be steadfast; stand firm; to hold on to what we have received. Your salvation is the most precious gift one can ever receive on this planet earth. It is true things are changing but God and His standards have not changed. It appears that everyone is turning to falsehood; remain steadfast in your faith. Whatever truth God has revealed to you; you should hold it sacredly. Whatever is happening today has been spoken of long ago, so they should not sound as news to the believer. Your decision to be steadfast will help you to withstand in your season of difficulty.

Do not be easily shaken by the outcome of events, particularly, in these days. God is still with us, and will not allow us to face troubles that will overtake us or bring us down. Your steadfastness is proof to the world around you, that, our God is real and faithful. Continue to trust him, because, he won’t fail you. A man tossed about by every wind of doctrine, is like a shifting shadow. He is unreliable and cannot be trusted with important matters of the kingdom.

Though we are in the world, we should live according to the pattern of life of heaven. We are just sojourners here. When you have this realization, you will not be encumbered by the pleasures and worries of this life. Remember, there is always a time in our walk with God, when you must either say a yes or no. When you are steadfast, you will know clearly what to answer.

WHEN YOU ARE STEADFAST, IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR SATAN TO PUSH YOU AROUND

Prayer: In Jesus’ name, I shall remain steadfast in Christ until the end. Amen.
