DON’T LIVE BROKEN

MAIN TEXT: 1ST SAMUEL 1:18
And she said, “Let your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad

ISAIAH 62:4 – You shall no more be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no more be termed Desolate, but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her, and your land Married; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married

To be “Broken” means to give up all hope. And this makes you to be unhappy deep down your heart. A lot of people due to one challenge or the other, have made them to live broken and they wish that its better for them to die rather than to be alive.

From our bible text, Hannah really suffered mockery in the hands of Penninah because she had no child. This ugly situation really made her depressed and sorrowful, but she didn’t allow the situation to mess her life up forever as she cried unto God for mercy who in turn changed her situation and gave her Prophet Samuel with other children later.

Therefore, we are encouraged not to live broken but should channel our tears to God who cannot fail. It does not matter the challenge that might have broken you, the Potter is right there with you to put you back again. Do not end your life with negative thoughts when God has not said so.

IF IT CANNOT BREAK YOUR GOD, IT CANNOT BREAK YOU.

Prayer:
I will never give up on myself and on God in Jesus’ name
