Stay On Your Assignment
Main Text; Romans 14: 12: So then every one of us shall give account of
himself to God”.
2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”.
If you are a Christian, God has an Assignment for your life that will put you in the right place at the right time, with the right group of people to fulfill His purpose in your life. You are not assigned everywhere, so stay where you have been assigned. Beloved of God, go where you are celebrated, not tolerated. There is a difference between pouring your life out at the specific place where God assigns you and where you assign yourself. So remember, you do not have to stay where God has not assigned you.
Your assignment requires your participation. Nobody else can discern it for you. Nobody else can pursue it for you. Nobody else can complete it for you. Stay where God has assigned you. Stop blaming others for your personal decisions. Never complain about what you permit.
God never intended for you to depend on everyone else for the completion of your Assignment. Your real joy will always be dependent upon His presence.
Hindrances do occur, every achiever experiences connection with someone who was a burden instead of a blessing. The Apostle Paul was very direct in the matter when he said; “But let every man prove his own work, and then shall have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another” (Galatians 6:4) Have you spent enough time in His presence to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit? He is your mentor, and Advisor.
