RESTORATION OF WASTED YEARS
Main text: Joel 2:25 “I will repay you for the years the locust have eaten-the great locusts and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm my great army that I sent among you”.
Return to your fortress, O prisoners of hope even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you”. Zech 9:12
No matter how decayed a man may be, how bad a situation might look, and how hopeless a case may appear, the living power of God is able to turn to turn it to brand new. What causes wastes in our lives? If not the devil, the devil is constantly planning to reduce us to something less than God’s original purpose and intentions for us, and out of ignorance and weakness, we play into his hands.
God has made a statement of victory over our lives-that the years the locusts have eaten, He will restore. But we have a part to play. The desire to be restored, when we talk about restoration, we realize that something has lost its original value and quality hence, it needs refurbishing.
So if you are still in the adamic state, you have lost value and quality-therefore needs restoration to your creator’s original purpose for your life. Yours is to surrender and his to restore.
Irrespective of how many years you may have lost or thrown away, whether ignorance, manipulation or demonic oppressions, the God of all creation says’ He will restore you. He can put you back to the shape he wants you to be.
Don’t doubt his ability, willingness and mercy to do it. Just let him in. whatever is left of your old life, release all unto him in faith and watch him turn you into a brand new man.
