MY STRENGTH IS IN CHRIST
MAIN TEXT – EXODUS 5:2
The Lord is my strength and my song
Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
We know that the challenges and crises of life can tax us to the very end of our strength and in such times, it is easy to want to give up. Our feelings may fluctuate, but our heavenly Father, who is all powerful never changes.
In my weakness, Christ is my strength for the present and my hope for the future, such is not based on my own perseverance but on the fidelity of God.
When I remain focus on Him, I can prevent weariness and discouragement in my soul. The bible urges me to focus on Christ, who is the source of my strength.
However God does not always take away our problems immediately, instead He gives us grace to endure until the appointed time for our testimony comes. He assures us that His grace is sufficient for us … 2 Corinthians 12:9. Difficulties burden us as we mull them over in our minds, affecting our relationship and our outlooks on life, but His sufficient grace and perfect strength supports us in our weaknesses.
Therefore we have to roll out all our burdens to God, trusting and believing in His promises in His word as they will certainly come to pass in our lives.
IF GOD BE FOR ME, NONE CAN BE AGAINST ME
