KEYS TO ANSWERED PRAYER

KEYS TO ANSWERED PRAYER

Main text: Jeremiah 33:3

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know”

Isaiah 58:9 – Then you will call and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say; Here am I.

In our above text God assured Jeremiah that He will answer him whenever he calls to Him. In so many other scriptures in His Word, God assured us, that He is ready and willing to answer our prayers but we must ask for His assistance diligently. “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me” – Psalm 66:18.

Anything that adversely affects our relationship with God also directly affect our prayers. Jesus said “If you abide in Me and My Words abide in you, you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you John 15:7. The Bible tells us in Heb 11:6 that “without faith it is impossible to please God…and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”. When we pray we must diligently put our heart and mind into it. that’s why Paul speaks of “Laboring in prayer” in Colossians 4:12

Joseph was tested by the very promise God gave him. “Until God’s time finally came- how God tested his patience (Psalm 105:19). At the fullness of time. Joseph moved from prison to prime Minister. You must ask in the name of Jesus as He instructed us to do. “Until now you have not asked anything in my name. Asked and you will receive and your joy will be complete” (John 16:24).

GOD IS EVER READY TO ANSWER OUR PRAYERS, BUT WE MUST PRAY IN FAITH.

Prayer: Father God, I ask for a spectacular miracle to happen in my life this day in Jesus’ name.
