LORD PREPARE ME
Main text: Psalms 86: 11 – Teach me your way, oh Lord and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I might fear your name.
Luke 11: 1 – One day Jesus was praying in a certain place, when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John thought his disciples”.
Our topic today – “Lord prepare me” is a request by a person who knows that he is about doing something or going somewhere and needs to make adequate arrangements for the journey in which he is not capable of doing but will need the help of an expert. This expert is our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord knows where there are pits, mountains, seas, valleys, strongholds and other obstacles that you may encounter on the way.
Beloved, invite Jesus into your life and he will prepare and guide you through the journey of life. Without our Lord Jesus preparing and going with you, you cannot get to the right destination successfully. As the Lion of the tribe of Judah; the king of the forest, when you pass through the forest with wild animals, on seeing him with you, they will bow to his Lordship as their king. As the head of all principalities and powers, when you go with him before strong holds, the strongmen, principalities and powers will tremble and bow at his presence and the sea and wind obey him. When you pass through the valley of dryness, he will supply all your needs by teaching your hands to create wealth.
When you fall into a pit, He is there to pull you out and dust you up. The Lord is an expert in preparing and guiding those who are willing and obedient to His words.
ALLOW THE LORD TO PREPARE YOU AND YOU WILL DO GREAT EXPLOITS
Prayer Point: Lord, I surrender myself to you that by your divine power that you will guide me in all I do.
