God is Ever So Near
Main Text: Jeremiah 33:3 – “ Call upon me in the days of trouble and I will
show you great and mighty things which you know not about”.
Psalm 55:16 – As for me, I shall call upon God and the Lord will save me.
Your relationship with God, determines how close or near He is to you. For God
to be close to you or near is not by having church title or by one position in the
society. You must pray very well, study the bible and understand Him, through His word, and engage in spiritual activities. “If you draw near to me, I will draw near to you” (James 4:8). God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1). God is your Jehovah Omnipresent, ever so near to you. His presence is everywhere at the same time. It is very important to understand the God that you serve.
He wants you to continually commune with Him. He wants you to call Him at
anytime. He is a God that does not sleep nor slumber. He is there at all time to
listen to you, speak and to dialogue with you. Ever so near God. He wants a
relationship with you. He is a Father, Teacher, counselor, and best friend. Always make sure that you speak to Him on daily basis, so that He can tell you what your day will be like. In every storm of life, there is a calm centre. Rather than calling your friends on the phone all the time in distress, run to the throne of God first. God is waiting for your call.
