NO STORM CAN STOP ME 3
Main text: I Peter 4:12 – “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try (test) you”
Job 14:1 – “Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.”
Nothing happens to a Christian by way of storms, trials, temptation, challenges and adversities etc except God permits it. So whatever He permits to happen to you is not meant to break or destroy you but to mold and prepare you for greater things ahead in life. Think about Joseph, God gave him a dream but He also permitted his ordeal with the aim and intention of getting him prepared for his exaltation to the throne in Egypt and the preservation of Israel (ponder on this a little).
In the same vein God can use your unpleasant situations, storms of life, difficult moments to work for your greater good. (James 1:2-4) “My brethren count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations (troubles) knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience but let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entice wanting nothing”
I make bold to say that storms are not static; they are subject to change, so they can’t stop you if you trust and obey God’s principles to cross over. Are you going through storms oflife right now?
Just know that the storms can’t stop you. God promises are clear to overcome them. Isaiah 43:2a – “When you pass through the waters I will be with you”. God closed the mouth of the lions and quenched the violence of fire. No storm can stop you. See God in the storm. Cheer up! God is watching over your situation.
GOD MAKES THE VALLEY OF TROUBLE A DOOR OF HOPE.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I ask for divine assistance to sustain and strengthen me in my moments of storms.
