PURSUING YOUR LIFE PURPOSE
MAIN TEXT: EXODUS 23:20
Behold, I send an angel before you, to keep you in the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. (AKJV)
ISAIAH 43:7
Even everyone who is called by my name: for I have created him for my own glory, I have formed him; yes, I have made him. (AKJV)
Every man on earth is created by God. There is a reason or reasons why God has placed you where He located you. There is something or things He wants to use you to showcase here on earth so that when men see you, they will see God and glorify Him. It is therefore your responsibility to find out from God this purpose (s) and pursue its actualization.
To pursue your life purpose, there are important things you must do. You must put God first in all things you do. The interest of God must be paramount in any plan you make. If you put yourself, religion or pressure from the world ahead of God, He might back out on you. That is why Moses in Exodus 33:15 told God that if He (God) will not go with him (Moses) then he will not go. This is because Moses knew very well that God knows the right route they should take to get to the Promised Land. It is important to put God first.
God has graciously deposited gifts inside you to enable you achieve your life’s purpose. In pursuing your life’s purpose, you must discover and use this or these gifts He has deposited in you. You can discover them by asking God to make them known to you. Joseph used the gift of dream and interpretation of dream deposited in him to interpret Pharaoh’s dream and Pharaoh saw him as very wise and made him a Prime Minister.
To fulfill your purpose is becoming a disciple. Whatsoever you want to become in life, study and follow those who are doing well in that field. Master their principles and become the picture you have painted about yourself. INVOLVE GOD IN YOUR PURSUITS AND ACHIEVE WITH GREAT SPEED AND ACCURACY
Prayer: Oh Lord my God, you are the Porter of my life, help me to know and achieve your purpose for my life. In Jesus name, Amen!
