WINNING EVERYDAY BATTLE
MAIN TEXT: JOHN 16:33b – In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
JOHN 17:11 And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are.
From the topic above, no particular form of battle is mentioned. The bible says that there shall be tribulation in the world. In John 10:10, the bible reveals that a thief comes to steal, to kill and destroy without discrimination. Child of God, there is an adage that says if a bird learns to fly without perching, the hunter should learn to shoot without aiming.
In other words, since the devil has learnt to attack without ceasing, the Christian man should be on his knees without ceasing. The devil has been conquered and we should be conscious of this in this spiritual warfare – that we are fighting a defeated enemy. Jesus Christ has assured us to be of good cheers because the world and the war have been defeated by Him. So your belief on Christ in this regard, connects you to this victory.
In Luke 10:19, Jesus gave every believer the power to destroy serpents and scorpions and to overcome all powers of the enemies without exemption on daily bases and nothing will hurt us. Brethren, remember that greater is he that is in you than what is in the world – 1 John 4:4. Rise up and win on daily bases, it is your sonship right.
