PURCHASED BY CHRIST’S BLOOD
MAIN TEXT: Hebrews 9:12 – He entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.
1 Corinthians 7:23 – You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men.
Our Lord’s blood has purchasing power, not only to obtain us but also to cleanse us, wash us, sanctify us, and to make us righteous and holy. We must remember that heaven does not deal in dollars, pounds, euros, or even gold or silver. The only currency that is of value in heaven and throughout eternity is the blood of Christ. It’s the only currency that is going to get you in.
The blood of Christ paid for our liberation, setting us free from sin; but in another inference, His sacrifice changed our ownership, making us slaves to God alone. “You were bought with a price” means God was willing to obtain possession of us on Calvary by paying the ultimate price—the blood of His own Son (Acts 20:28).
Also, there’s no evil sacrifice that has the authority to tamper with your spirit, we must stand on power in that blood of Christ to declare our continual Victory always.
THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST IS THE GREATEST CURRENCY
