RADIATE GOD’S GLORY
MAIN TEXT: HEBREWS 1:3 –
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Colossians 1:27 – To whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
We have the awesome privilege of bringing Glory to the Father as Jesus brought Glory to the Father by living through the power of the Spirit. Our response to hardship or trouble will reveal how much we are beholding the glory of our Lord and being transformed into the same image.
We must look away from ourselves to Christ. Jesus Christ is the perfect image of God. There is no other way we can reflect His glory in our lives. It doesn’t come by TRYING to glow…it comes by looking at His glory, by abiding and seeking His face more than we seek anything else. Putting Christ first.
God expects us to shine in every season. And our glow is dependent on how much we abide in Christ. The more of God’s presence in our lives, the more of God’s glory that we reflect.
PRAYER: O God, show me your glory. I will not carry shame or reproach. I am the the glory of Christ on earth in Jesus name Amen
