BE A WATCH MAN
Main Text: Ezekiel 3:17
Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
Mark 13:33-Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
A watchman is one set to watch; a person who keeps guard, especially one who guards people, things city by day or night.
God desires that we become and remain watchman because we are in a battle with the devil who does not rest but works every minutes searching for who to steal, kill and devour. A man in the battle field eats with one hand and his weapon of warfare on the other hand. He is very alert and careful knowing that the enemies are close.
A Christian watchman must be strong and alert always because the devil goes like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour. A watchman does not sit carelessly with civilians; he is a soldier and lives his life as a militant- ever ready for combat.
The eye of a Christian watchman is open and sees beyond what others can see. As Christian, how ready are you? How sharp and open are your eyes to see beyond what others can see.
A Christian watchman should also get ready and prepared for the Lord’s coming. The garment of the Christian watchman must be kept spotless no matter the flying debris in the atmosphere called sin and heresies.
A VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN IS THE WATCHMAN CHRISTIAN
Prayer Point: Jesus Christ keep me spotless and strong as a watchman in Jesus name.
