THE NEED FOR REVIVAL FIRE
MAIN TEXT- REVELATIONS 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love..
Psalm 51:10 – Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Any man who has left his first love is in dire need of revival (Rev. 2:4). Whenever our love for God is no longer strong or present, then the devil is up to something terrible in our lives. Without the love of God, we cannot be zealous for the works of the kingdom of God; we cannot flow with the Holy Spirit.
Revival is needed because the love of God is growing cold speedily among people.
The complacency in the land calls for urgent revival. All the seat warmers, selfish and hypocrite believers need true revival. Men are lovers and chasers of money more than chasers of God.
The rise of the horn of worldliness among believers is truly alarming yet most people cannot see it.
The lack of concern for the lost and suffering souls is a great pointer for the urgent revival from God. 1 Corinthians 10:23.
When there’s an outpouring of Gods fire sin will be defeated and God will be exalted. It’s only God that can revive the spirit. He alone is the source. “Wilt Thou…revive us again” Ps. 85:6.
