STRENGTH TO THE WEARY
MAIN TEXT: Isaiah 40:29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Psalm 29:11 – The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.
Earnestly, everyone of us would have undergone various kinds of painful events. And these battles make us weak and feel hopeless. But looking at what God says, “the Lord gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak”. This is very comforting.
When we try to get through difficulties in our own strength, we often fall short and become weary, unable to bear the burden. But God promises us a strength and power beyond our own as we continue to rely on Him.
We must wait in faith. We must wait in worship. We must wait in the Word of God. When we do, we will run and never get weary. We will walk and never faint. Like the eagle, the storm of life will cause us to fly higher and higher until we’re no longer looking up at the storm but down at my enemy.
SURRENDER FOR DIVINE ENABLEMENT
PRAYER: I declare that divine abilities are replacing my inabilities today. I will see the hand of God in every thing I do. O God, take over now in Jesus’ name Amen.
