BUILD TO GROW

MAIN TEXT: Colossians 1:10 ‘’And we pray this in order that, you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of the Lord’’.

Ephesians 4:12 – ‘To prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up’’.

Stagnancy is never part of God’s will and plan for you, or anyone else for that matter. Let your aim be to enhance your life in whatever you do. You must know that, in the journey to success and fulfillment of destiny, you have a part to play. God causes the growth, but, there are things we must do before growth occurs. How you live your life counts a lot. All that we do during our passage through life amount to building. Relationship with others; at home, church, office or other acquaintances make up the structure of what we are building.

Even our attitude to work contribute to our growth. It is God’s will for you to advance and improve your life. Do not settle for what you have now. Engage in things that add value to you. Reach out for opportunities that expose you to higher experiences, in your career and other endeavors. Be a learner in every situation. You don’t stop learning until you die. There are life challenges that come with learning experiences, so we should not let them pass.

If you do not work daily to improve yourself, you get stuck in one place. Nobody is keeping you down but you. You grow to the extent you give. By giving out, you create more room to grow inside. Always endeavor to leave people better than you met them, and you will be better off, too.

‘’IN ALL THAT YOU DO, BE READY TO ADVANCE AND GROW THROUGH THEM’’

PRAYER: My father, my father, may I not miss any opportunity that will enhance me in life in Jesus’ name Amen
