GOD IS STILL GOOD
MAIN TEXT: Psalm 34:8 ‘’Taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.’’
Psalm 100: 5 – ’For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations’’
Goodness is one of the attributes of the Almighty God. It is who He is. What a relief we feel whenever we remember the goodness of the Lord. God’s goodness is beyond all questions. He is not just pious, but He is really, practically and consistently good. God cannot break his promises, abandon His children or fail to love and bless them. You can be sure that in every circumstance, He will treat you in the best possible way.
During difficult times, it is hard to see God’s goodness or feel that things will get any better, but then, that is when to apply faith that God has already given you and by act of your will, trust Him. Ultimately, you will see that God is still good. Irrespective of what is happening in your life, know that they are under the control of your heavenly father.
He is turning things around for your good. If God is not good, it is impossible for Him to bring something good out of a bad situation. It may seem bad, even ugly, but be of good courage because He makes all things work for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His good purpose.
‘’REGARDLESS OF WHAT HAPPENS, GOD IS STILL GOOD AND WILL REMAIN GOOD’’.
PRAYER: O Lord, may your goodness always be evident in my life and family. Amen.
